How to Cut Fruit How to Cut Grapes
Another one of my favorite fruits are grapes;green, red, dark purple, beautiful grapes. Succulent and seasonal. So make sure whenyou get some that they're firm, they're ripe and they're not gushy. Before you serve yourgrapes, make sure that you give them a good rinse in the sink to get rid of any littlebugs or spiders that like to live within them and overview them for problematic ones. Thisone has a little bruise. I wouldn't serve that to anyone. And make sure that they'refirm and pulpy so you can actually hold on to them. That way they're going to last alittle bit longer. So you have longevity with your fruit. Now when I serve my grapes, Ilike to put them in a big bowl and let people
help themselves on them or maybe I'd liketo add them to a cheese platter. So you want to snip them a little smaller so people aren'twalking away with a whole bunch of grapes. That'll also help control the cost and extendthe life of your fruit. So I take a scissor, kitchen shears, and I snip them in small bitesize little bunchettes. Also if you have children at home, it's great to just have little buncheslike this set aside, so they can pick up some and munch on them. It's such a healthy snack.Another trick is to freeze grapes and put them in cocktails. That's kind of fun too.Especially in the hotter months. Grapes. Beautiful, delicious and inexpensive.
